The left shoe’s heel reads “78” for the year the legend first laid eyes on the Blazer, the shoe worn by his childhood heroes. That era also saw Mountain make his own foray into pool skateboarding, represented by the tile-like debossing. A nod to the tri-colored concert posters that inspired Mountain’s graphic work throughout his career, seen through the prism-fade details standing out against black suede.
