The Vans Syndicate 10-year legacy is topped off November 14th with the final anniversary release presented by longtime collaborators WTAPS. With nearly a decade’s worth of projects in Vault by Vans and Vans Syndicate lines to date, the premium Japanese menswear label brings artful craftsmanship and sophistication to the Authentic “S” model.
As part of the first-ever WTAPS Syndicate project and originally for Japan distribution only, the striking tonal yellow Authentic “S” inspires WTAPS vision for this reissue, presenting a rich mustard hue from collar to sole, balanced by a subtle repeated WTAPS “Wings” print on the canvas panel. Designed with soft suede and canvas uppers, the Authentic “S” makes its final statement with a bold yellow gum foxing tape and complimentary printed WTAPS “Wings” laces to complete the pair. These will be available online at Midnight 12/14/15 (Friday Night) Anything left will be sold in-store on Saturday at 12pm.

Vans Mountain Edition 4Q “S” Max Schaaf

Known as much for his creativity on four wheels and a wooden deck as he is with two wheels and American iron, veteran skateboarder and motorcycle builder Max Schaaf is no stranger to the Vans Syndicate family. With his first Syndicate project dating back in 2009, Schaaf’s influential persona is defined once again in the Mountain Edition 4Q “S”, a premium, heavy-duty mid-top, available in shop and in the Online Store this Saturday, October 17, marking the fourth release in celebration of Vans Syndicate’s 10th Anniversary.

Schaaf’s rugged aesthetic is emphasized in this reimagined silhouette, boasting military-grade leathers, enhanced design details inspired specifically by skateboarding, bikes and Schaaf’s hometown of Oakland, CA. The timeless style comes in an all-black, full grain leather construction.

The Vans Syndicate Max Schaaf Mountain Edition 4Q “S” launches worldwide in-store on Saturday, October 17 exclusively at participating Vans Syndicate authorized dealers.

Vans Andy Kessler Sk8-Hi Reissue “S”

“Celebrating a decade of Vans Syndicate would not be complete without a proper tribute to New York skateboarding icon Andy Kessler. As the third installment honoring the 10th anniversary of Syndicate, this October 3 Vans releases the Sk8-Hi Reissue NYC “S” inspired by the east coast skateboarding legend. Touted as one of the original pioneers of New York skateboarding in the 1970s and 1980s, Kessler is remembered for his dedicated community work in building public skateparks, inspiring locals and skateboarders from all walks of life to be a part of the emerging New York skate scene.”

Vans Syndicate presents the Andy Kessler Sk8-Hi Reissue NYC “S” in the original premium leather and nubuck silhouette topped with the bright blue shoelaces he personalized all his Sk8-His with. The upper construction features Outlast temperature management linings and perforated nubuck panels for maximum protection and ventilation. Capping off the design, the custom heel scab references old NYC subway tokens of Andy’s childhood.

The Vans Syndicate x Andy Kessler anniversary project launches worldwide in-store on Saturday, October 3rd at Noon, and will be available for purchase at 12:01 am (just after midnight Friday). Thank you for your continued Support.

Vans Seylynn “S” Luke Meier

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Vans Syndicate has reached out to several original Syndicate collaborators to get their help in reworking many originals to the Syndicate line in modern anniversary fashion. Among the many collaborators is OAMC’s Luke Meier, who had previously helped bring new life to the Syndicate Zero Lo model. This time around, his “Destry Luxury” mindset has been applied to the Seylynn “S,” devising the low-cut shoe in a beautiful all-white premium soft nubuck. The anniversary project launches worldwide on Saturday 9/19/2015. We’ll release these online at 12:01 am (Just after midnight Friday) Any pair remaining will be on a first come first serve basis at 10 am Saturday. Thank you for your continued support.

Vans Pro Skate x GOLF

Vans Syndicate x Harmony Korin Project

Vans Syndicate collaborates with auteur, provocateur and skater Harmony Korine. Harmony gained fame as the teenage writer of the controversial HIV-era cult classic film Kids that was set among the burgeoning mid-’90s New York skate scene in which he was immersed at the time. Harmony continues to write, direct and produce a growing body of influential films, books and works of fine art. Harmony created the custom checkerboard print pattern and his artwork is featured in the footbeds on his Authentic Pro “S” and Slip-on Pro “S” styles in canvas and suede. Rooted in the culture of skateboarding, Vans Syndicate is proud to present this limited product capsule with visionary skateboard graphic designer, Sean Cliver. Sean created Vans legend Ray Barbee’s first pro board on Powell-Peralta some 20+ years ago and has gone on to create other iconic works in the genre for the likes of World Industries, 101, Birdhouse, Element, Supreme and more. Sean literally wrote the book on skateboard graphic designs. Literally. It’s called Disposable. Look it up.

The Vans Syndicate x Sean Cliver Pack features an Authentic Pro and a Mid-Skool Pro with a Vans original checkerboard incorporating a 7-ply maple skateboard laminate side view pattern.

Vans Syndicate x Tyler the Creator Old Skool

For the Spring we are proud to introduce the Vans Syndicate line to the shop. Vans Syndicate is a limited skateboard collection, sold only through selected accounts worldwide. The style is always based on classic Vans-models, but the materials, innersole and execution is always modified for better skate performance. The first shoe to drop is the Authentic 69 Pro “S.” This shoe features a checker print of the same color on the sides, a ribbon heel pull tab and the traditional Vans waffle sole. Available in three colorways: navy, black and red. These shoes are very limited and will go fast.
